This NGSS-aligned Biology course explores the science of life by examining how living systems grow, reproduce, and evolve, while also emphasizing their connection to Earth and its changing environments. Students will investigate core topics such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, and evolution, and consider how these processes interact with Earth’s systems—such as climate, energy flow, and the cycling of matter. Through inquiry-based lessons, labs, and real-world phenomena, students will build an understanding of the interdependence between life on Earth and the planet that sustains it.
