Operation Urgent Fury - is an immersive simulation that puts students into a real crisis situation that took place during President Reagan’s administration - specifically, the rescue of 800 American medical students on the communist, rebel island of Grenada. This is offered to 5th-12th grade students. Students are split into 3 modules – Oval Office, Command Decision Center (Military), and Press. The simulation builds leadership, communication, civil discourse and informed decision-making skills while learning a historic event.
The experience includes a 30-minute pre-brief and 1 hour simulation. The rest of your visit would various tours depending on your timing.
If you wish to skip lunch onsite, we could plan an itinerary like below. I’m not sure if they will start getting hungry or tired. We could also combine the Outside with the Air Force One and skip the museum tour which would shorten your visit.
