Minecraft Mission 3 - Moon One “space-science” hour The third Minecraft Mission will begin a new settlement on Earth’s single Moon. Like the previous Mars builds, we will continue to employ significant scientific research and explore existing Moon settlement plans from multiple countries to shape our builds. Scientific accuracy is of paramount importance. Students will create self-narrated walk-through videos detailing how their research informed their building decisions, and will have the opportunity to present their builds at the annual ROA STEAM event. (In both the standard 2D Minecraft application as well as immersive VR.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Students will need their own Minecraft Java account, with FULL administrative control of their PC or Macintosh computer. As we will be using some very resource-intensive Mods, the more powerful the computer, the better your experience will be. This is a very LARGE project and we will need a LOT of people to help build it. Minecraft beginners and experts are all welcome.
