Description

Ocean Survival Challenge

This active, game based coastal workshop focuses on how ocean and tidepool animals survive changing tides, waves, predators, heat, and exposure.

Students will explore marine animal adaptations through camouflage activities, predator and prey games, adaptation challenges, shoreline investigations, and a hands on survival activity using natural beach materials.

This workshop also works well regardless of tide conditions and gives students plenty of movement while still incorporating marine biology and coastal science.
