LEGO is not just plastic anymore! Guided by the United Nations' 17 Goals for Sustainable Development we will develop, engineer, and build a vast interconnected city. Using both old-school physical LEGO bricks and new 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software tools, we will create both real-world and virtual models to achieve the UN's 17 progressive goals ... and present our work at ROA's annual STEAM night in March 2027.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This workshop makes use of professional-level software applications in a highly collaborative, modern educational environment, emulating a real-world architectural studio. Students will need a newer, relatively powerful Windows or Macintosh PC, a good quality web camera & microphone, reliable high-speed internet, a multi- button mouse or trackball and FULL administrative privileges to install and manage software. (NO Chromebooks or trackpads.) Please contact Chris Jung ([email protected]) if you have any questions.
