Music Production with BandLab 11:00AM

This fun, hands-on workshop takes students from musical idea to finished track using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Students will explore core skills behind modern music production—recording, sequencing, arranging, mixing, and audio editing—right in the software environment.


We’ll be using BandLab, an online, cloud-based DAW that runs smoothly in any browser with Google Chrome. BandLab offers a friendly interface, a huge library of pre-made loops and virtual instruments, and a powerful MIDI editor—perfect for learning while creating. Students will also use MIDI controllers (keyboards) to perform melodies, build beats, and create their own original compositions or recreate popular songs through fresh, unique arrangements.


Whether you’re brand new to music technology or already have some experience, this workshop is designed to help you develop confidence, creativity, and practical production skills—while leaving with something you made yourself.
