Design and 3D fabricate your own toys AND their packaging! Using the latest 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools & 2D vector/pixel editing software you will conceive, design, model and fabricate ACTUAL packaged toys to be presented and displayed at ROA's March 2027 STEAM night in a completely student-designed Toy Aisle.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This workshop makes use of professional-level software applications in a highly collaborative, modern educational environment, emulating a real-world product design studio. Students will need a newer, relatively powerful Windows or Macintosh PC, a good quality web camera & microphone, reliable high-speed internet, a multi-button mouse or trackball and FULL administrative privileges to install and manage software. (NO Chromebooks or trackpads.)
