Creative Music Production w/ Bandlab (Oxnard)

This fun and interactive workshop introduces students to the concepts of music recording, sequencing, arranging, mixing and audio editing, using computer software also known as Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). 

This particular workshop will use “Bandlab” as our DAW, a fun and intuitive online-cloud Digital Audio Workstation tool for creating music that features a large library of pre-made loops and virtual instruments, as well as a MIDI editor, and compatible with any device that uses Google Chrome. Additionally, students will use midi controllers (keyboards) in order to create their own musical pieces and/or recreate existing songs through original arrangements. This workshop is ideal for both beginner and intermediate students keen to learn more about the world of digital music production and music-making.
