DIY Derby Car & Ramp Race Field Trip

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming 2 hour off-site field trip! Due to strict vendor capacity limits, this trip will be limited to 20 students currently enrolled in TK-2nd Grade.

Please note the following important details:

• Grade Level Requirement: Only students in grades TK-2 are eligible to attend.

• No Siblings or Special Accommodations: To ensure fairness and manage the limited capacity, we’re unable to accommodate siblings or make exceptions for students outside of the designated grade levels.

• Drop-Off Option: Parents may drop off their child for this off-site field trip. A River Oaks staff member—Bambi or Ian—will be on site to help oversee and supervise students throughout the event.

• Parent Attendance: Parents are welcome to stay and watch the activity; however, we ask that they do not assist or participate with their child during the event to allow students to fully engage independently.

• Snacks & Water: Since the field trip will last approximately two hours, students may bring a water bottle and a quick snack to enjoy during the event.

• Waivers & Media Release: Once you sign up for the field trip, we will send you the vendor’s liability waiver and media release form to complete in order for your child to attend.

We understand that coordinating for multiple children can be challenging, and we truly appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
