Japanese Gachapon Toy Design & 3D Fabrication

This is the big finale Gachapon workshop. All the creatively designed, carefully crafted and industrially engineered Gachas will be refined for their unveiling at ROA STEAM night. The new Gachapon capsule vending machines -- imported from Japan -- will be shown for the first time filled with wildly wonderful student creations for all to experience! We will be making final color and design choices, and remote fabricating everything with the latest multicolor 3D printing technologies. Even if you have not taken this workshop before, please do. Crack open your creative brain and become a toy designer! 

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students will need a PC or Macintosh computer with FULL administrative control to install software. As we will be using some very resource intensive applications, the newer and more powerful computer you use, the better your experience will be.

Participants must be entering grades 6 to 12.
